Purpose of Archiving
The archiving policy of JFJIDS ensures the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published content. The journal is committed to maintaining the integrity and availability of scholarly records for current and future researchers, clinicians, educators, and students in dental sciences.

Digital Preservation
To guarantee persistent access to published articles, JFJIDS adopts the following digital archiving strategies:

  • LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe): JFJIDS participates in the LOCKSS program to preserve content in decentralized and distributed archives.

  • CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS): The journal utilizes the CLOCKSS archive for secure, long-term preservation.

  • Institutional Repositories: Authors are encouraged to deposit the final published version of their articles in institutional or subject-based repositories.

Self-Archiving Policy (Green Open Access)
JFJIDS permits authors to self-archive the following versions of their manuscripts:

  • Pre-print: Authors may archive the submitted version (before peer review) on preprint servers.

  • Post-print: Authors may archive the accepted version (after peer review, before final typesetting).

  • Published Version (Version of Record): Authors may share the final published version on personal websites, institutional repositories, and scholarly platforms, with proper citation to the original publication in JFJIDS.

Permanent Access and Availability
All content published in JFJIDS will remain permanently accessible on the journal’s official website. If the journal ceases publication, the full archive will be transferred to a suitable digital repository or preservation service.

Metadata Archiving
JFJIDS ensures that article metadata is indexed and archived in international databases and digital libraries such as CrossRef, Google Scholar, and DOAJ to enhance discoverability and citation.

Article Retraction and Removal
In rare cases where content must be retracted or removed due to legal or ethical issues, a retraction notice or explanation will be provided. Metadata will remain accessible to maintain the scholarly record.
