Publication Ethics
JFJIDS is committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethical publishing. All participants—authors, reviewers, editors, and the publisher—are expected to adhere to ethical principles throughout the publication process. The journal follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Duties of Authors

Originality and Plagiarism: Authors must submit original work. Plagiarism or self-plagiarism is strictly prohibited.

Multiple Submissions: Manuscripts must not be submitted to more than one journal simultaneously.

Authorship: Only individuals who have made significant contributions should be listed as authors. All co-authors must approve the final manuscript.

Acknowledgment of Sources: Proper credit must be given through accurate citations and references.

Conflict of Interest Disclosure: Authors must disclose any financial or other conflicts that could influence their research.

Data Access and Retention: Authors should provide raw data upon reasonable request.

Duties of Reviewers

Confidentiality: Manuscripts received for review are confidential.

Objectivity: Reviews should be objective, without personal criticism of authors.

Acknowledgment of Sources: Reviewers should highlight relevant published work not cited by the authors.

Conflict of Interest: Reviewers must decline manuscripts where conflicts exist.
Duties of Editors

Fairness and Impartiality: Editorial decisions are based solely on academic merit, regardless of authors’ personal characteristics.

Confidentiality: Editors must not disclose manuscript information beyond the corresponding author, reviewers, and publisher.

Publication Decisions: The Editor-in-Chief makes final decisions guided by reviewer reports, journal policies, and legal standards.

Handling Misconduct: Editors take appropriate action if ethical concerns arise in submitted or published manuscripts.
Publisher Responsibilities

Ethical Oversight: The publisher ensures compliance with best practices in publishing ethics.

Archiving: Digital preservation of all published articles is guaranteed for long-term access.

Retractions and Corrections: The publisher collaborates with the editorial team to issue corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern when necessary.
Ethical Misconduct and Complaints
JFJIDS investigates allegations of misconduct, including plagiarism, authorship disputes, data falsification, or peer review manipulation. Confirmed cases may result in rejection, retraction, or other sanctions.
